Did you know that if you own a home that was built before 1960, that odds are you have zero insulation in your main walls?
A simple way to test this theory is to drill a small ¾” hole in one of your outside walls and shine a flashlight in. Most likely you will find a 1” to 6” empty cavity, depending on the type of structure you own (double brick, stone, etc). This also means that your attic and basement headers will probably have very little or no insulation either, leaving your home open to the elements in both the coldest and warmest months. If you’ve noticed that your energy bills are higher than they should be, this is definitely a major cause.
Green-Seal Technologies of Mount Forest can help to eliminate this
problem in just one day by retrofitting the main walls, attic, and basement
headers of your home. Using our new installation process of blowing Dense-
Packed Cellulose into the main walls, combined with loose fill cellulose in the
attic, and polyurethane spray foam in the basement headers, energy bills can
be reduced by upwards of 50%! Free estimates are available and government
grants may cover the cost of work done, ask us how!
